The National Consortium for Specialized Secondary Schools of Mathematics, Science and Technology(NCSSSMST or S3) and Real Time Leadership Solutions are developing a collaborative relationship to pursue international STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) program opportunities. Mastery of and competence in the sciences, technology, engineering and mathematics are central to creativity, problem-solving, innovation and economic development. If we are serious about winning the future, we must build the capacity (knowledge, skills and abilities) of our students, workforce and citizen groups to actively participate in the knowledge economy.
NCSSSMST presents a provocative knowledge exchange platform and creative organizational model - S3 is a consortium of US based secondary schools specializing in promoting opportunities in the sciences, technology, and mathematics. www.ncsssmst.org In NCSSSMST's June 2012 Newsletter, Dr. Steven Canipe, the Executive Director of S3 provides details about their upcoming professional conference, Student Summer Research program, the Conrad Foundation's Spirit of Innovation Award, Newsweek magazine's feature on a member school in their best of segment, the NCSSSMST Journal and the partnership opportunity with Real Time Leadership Solutions for international outreach and project development.
